From the article: Warts
In my practice I've heard many myths about how to get rid of a wart from rubbing a potato on it to biting the top off to expose the inside to saliva. On the flip side we used to think getting rid of a wart with duct tape is a myth. This is your chance to share the craziest myth you've heard about warts.

Not so crazy?

Several warts were on my index finger, which was a terrible worry for a seven years old. Mama's dishrag, used to clean the old wood range, was the means to solving the wart problem, I was told. But Mama didn't know of this. Rub the greasy black rag (black from being used on the old stove) on my finger and then bury the rag. Well, Mama would be severely upset if she didn't have her rag, so I focused on the next part of the "cure": Do not think about it for the next week. So, I rubbed Mama's rag on my finger really hard. And I really didn't think of the warts for the next few days! Within about 10 days, the warts I had for ever so long were actually gone!

Share your myth

When my siblings and I were young we all got warts....everyone's warts went away except for mine...the reason being I picked up frogs and that's why didn't go away.

By the light of the moon

I heard this when I was living in Santa Cruz, California. By the light of a FULL moon, find an old redwood stump that had collected water. Use the water to bathe the warts.
