Smallpox Vaccine - Minor Generalized Reactions

Definition:

The smallpox vaccine can frequently cause generalized symptoms in addition to the local reaction. In recent studies, 33% of people vaccinated felt bad enough to miss work, school, or recreational activities, or had trouble sleeping. Around 17% of people vaccinated developed a fever of at least 100° F within 2 weeks of vaccination.
