Definition: An elevated, solid, superficial lesion more than .5cm in diameter. A plaque differs from a nodule in it's height. A plaque tends to be flattened and a nodule is a "bump".

Also Known As: Eczema, discoid lupus erythematosis, lichen planus, paget's disease, pityriasis, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea corporis, tinea versicolor.
