Definition: Excess dead skin cells that are produced because of abnormal conditions.

Also Known As: Ichthyosis, pityriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, tinea, xerosis, desquamation, scarlet fever, toxic shock syndrome, staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome, psoriasis.
