Over-The-Counter Light-Based Wrinkle Treatment May Be Coming Soon
The GentleWaves system reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with pulsating amber-colored light emitting diodes (LEDs) that are designed to stimulate collagen production in the skin. This system is currently used in physician offices for skin rejuvenation, but with this new FDA clearance, the company will start working on an at-home version that will not require a trip to the doctor's office.
Studies have shown that exposing skin cells to certain wavelengths (colors) of LED light causes a small amount of damage to the cell. The skin cell responds by making more collagen to "repair" itself, which in turn can firm the skin up and reduce fine wrinkles. Because there is minimal damage to the cell, there is no immediate visible effect on the skin -- no need to worry anyone will see you had a treatment.
A similar process goes on with other light therapies like lasers and intense pulsed light (IPL). However, lasers and IPL do cause enough damage to cells in the dermis that the skin can look red and peel.

I tried acouple wrinkle products and they are fine. However, I must recommend a cream I STOPPED using because after 6 months it permenantly improved my face. Its called the “Vitamin enhanced face firming serum” from the Made from Earth product line. You see it firm your face after you put it on and since its organic and chemical free – in the long run – i have now stopped using it because my face has really firmed up!!
Chemicals in skincare products will cause your skin to sag in the long run. Thats because those chemicals dont belong there and impact your skins elasticity. I would defiunitely recommend the Face firming serum, from Made from Earth. Im serious, I stopped using it after 6 months of use. . .i went through a bottle a month for 6 months and thats it! i saw a major difference. . .i highly recommend it to anyone who is tired of trying all the different face creams. . .
I prefer using wrinkle cream as a natural alternative to Botox or surgery. What do you think? Is Botox safe enough now due to technological advances?
The Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer is a staple in my beauty regiment. Its from the Made from Earth skin careline.
