My son is 7 yrs. old he is up to date on all his shots. Just today the school sent home a letter advising the parents that a third grader was diagnosed with this virus. about three days ago my son started complaing of an itch on his face i then noticed his face was a blushy red so i thought that he had an allergic reaction to something now today the rash is completely covering his entire body .My question to you is could my son have the chicken pox virus even thhough he has had all of his shots and what are the odds of my two other children getting this? Strangely to to my knowledge he would be only the second child in his school to catch this virus.
